Tama Tension Watch TW100
Tama Tension Watch reads head pressure at each tension rod for even, balanced tuning.
Product Description
The Tama Tension Watch TW100 is a simple tuning aid that measures head tension at each rod, helping you achieve even pressure and a balanced tuning across the drum.
Tuning a drum evenly is trickier than it sounds, especially if your ear isn't fully trained to hear small pitch differences between rods. The Tension Watch removes the guesswork by giving you an actual reading at each tension rod, so you can adjust until the pressure is even all the way around the head.
It's also handy for recreating a sound you love: note down the readings once you've found your favorite tone, and you can dial in the exact same tuning again the next time you change the head.
