The Techra Xcarb 7A is a carbon fiber drumstick from Techra's Carbon Xcarb Series, built to be light, fast, and powerful in play. It gives a clear, precise feel while lasting far longer than a wood stick of the same size.
The stick features Techra's Anti-Vibration System, a rubber tip placed at the butt end of the stick. It dampens vibration that would otherwise travel into the hand, giving better comfort and a stiffer feel that supports greater tonal expression. The diameter is 13.6 mm.
Despite the carbon fiber construction, the Xcarb 7A weighs the same as a traditional wood stick and is always perfectly balanced. The carbon fiber lets it last up to four times longer than wood, gives noticeably higher volume, and makes it easier to handle over a long session.
