Tama Metalworks Mini-Tymp 14"x3" - Matte Black
Tama Metalworks Mini-Tymp, 14x3" effect snare in matte black steel. Goes from a short, fat snare to a percussive timbale tone.
Product Description
The Tama Metalworks Mini-Tymp is a 14x3" effect snare in matte black steel, designed to add a distinctive extra voice to your kit. The newly developed Mod-Tone system lets you quickly switch the character from a short, fat snare to a percussive timbale tone.
The shell is made from 1 mm matte black steel and combines a batter head with a fan-shaped snare wire set. The Mod-Tone system makes it easy to adjust the snare wires, giving this effect snare a wider range of tones than a standard effect snare. Several distinct sounds from a single drum.
Construction
The hoop is a 6-hole, 1.6 mm triple flanged hoop, giving stable tuning and a rugged look that matches the matte black finish.
Mounting
The snare ships with a tom mount and MC69 tom clamp, so it can be mounted on any stand or rack without extra accessories.
