Tama True Touch AAD Snare Pad 10"

Product Description

The Tama True Touch AAD Snare Pad is a 10" practice pad built to feel like a real snare drum. AAD stands for Accuracy, Articulation, Dynamics, giving clear articulation and solid dynamic response during practice. The rim is shaped to simulate a drum hoop, so you can train both rim shots and sidestick technique.

• Simulated hoop edge for practicing rim shots and sidestick technique
• Built-in steel balls create a snare-like buzz sound
• Touch-sensitive response: harder hits produce more buzz, softer playing produces less
• Delivers clear articulation and strong dynamic control during practice

What You'll Notice

The harder you strike the pad, the more buzz you hear from the internal steel balls, mirroring the way snare wires respond on a real snare drum. This makes the pad a useful tool for developing dynamic control, not just rebound.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want to practice snare drum technique at home or in the rehearsal room without full drum volume, while still getting feedback that resembles a real snare drum.

Note that a snare stand is not included. Tama recommends the HS40SN stand.
