Tama Superstar Classic - Gloss Java Lacebark Pine

Product Description

The Superstar Classic CL52KRSP-GJP is a 5-piece drum kit in maple with the Gloss Java Lacebark Pine finish. The kit stands on its own sound merits and good quality despite the low price.

Sizes And Shells

The kit consists of a 22"x16" bass drum, 10"x7" and 12"x8" mounted toms, a 16"x14" floor tom and a 14"x6.5" snare drum. The toms and snare drum are built from 6 plies of maple laminate at 5mm, while the bass drum has 8 plies of maple laminate at 7mm. More plies in the shell give increased stability and affect how the drum projects its sound.

Technology

The lugs are Low Mass Lugs, and the bass drum has Claw Hooks with rubber bushings for the claws against the hoop.

Included

A double tom holder for mounting the toms is included in delivery. The heads fitted from the factory are ok but do not match the sound potential of the shells, so changing them refines the sound further.
