Tama Starclassic Walnut/Birch - White Pearl

Product Description

Tama Starclassic Walnut/Birch is a shell pack in the White Pearl finish, in 4 pieces. The birch's clear attack meets the walnut's warm, full low end, and the fundamental tone is clear, pure and unusually easy to tune. It sounds equally at home on stage as in the studio.

Construction

The bass drum measures 22"x16" and has an 8 mm shell built from 5 plies of birch with 2 inner plies of American black walnut. The 10"x7" and 12"x8" toms along with the 16"x16" floor tom have a 6 mm shell in 4 plies of birch with 2 inner plies of black walnut.

Technology

The drums are built with Starclassic lugs and Die-Cast Hoops. The toms are mounted with Star-Cast Mounting and Quick-Lock tom holders.

Hardware

The bass drum has Claw Hooks with rubber bushings that reduce rattling, and the floor tom's Cushioned Floor Tom Legs preserve resonance. All hardware is in the Black Nickel finish.

Included

The shell pack includes a bass drum, two toms and a floor tom, together with an MTH1000 double tom holder. The toms are fitted with Evans G2 Clear batter heads and the bass drum with an Evans EQ4 batter head. Stand, snare drum and cymbals are not included, but the Tama HV5WN stand package is recommended for use with it.
