Starclassic Walnut/Birch from Tama is a 3-piece drum kit in Red Oyster finish, built with shells in birch and walnut. The kit gives a big fundamental tone and a stable bottom end, with a clear and pure tone that is easy to tune whether the heads are tuned high or low.

Shell

Tom and floor tom are built with a 6mm shell with 4 plies of birch and 2 inner plies of Black Walnut. The bass drum has an 8mm shell with 5 plies of birch and 2 inner plies of American Black Walnut. The combination of birch and walnut gives the kit its unique yet allround character.

Hardware

The floor tom legs are Quick-Lock with a quick release that also functions as a memory lock, and are fitted with Cushioned Floor Tom Legs, rubber feet with an air pocket that preserve resonance. The bass drum has die-cast claw hooks, Claw Hooks with rubber bushings.

Hoops And Lugs
