Shells and Construction

The rack toms, floor toms and snare have 6 mm shells built from 4 plies of birch and 2 plies of maple, while the bass drum has a slightly thicker 7 mm shell made from 5 plies of birch and 2 plies of maple. The bass drum has cast claw hooks with protective rubber spacers, and the floor tom legs are cushioned with an air pocket so the sound isn't lost. The rack toms are mounted using 2 included MC69 Fast Clamps with ball rods, offering extensive adjustment options for positioning.

Heads

The kit ships with Evans heads: the toms have G1 Coated batter heads and the bass drum has an EQ4 batter head.
