Tama Stagestar ST52H5C - Sea Blue Mist

Product Description

The Tama Stagestar ST52H5C-SEM is a complete drum set finished in Sea Blue Mist, with hardware, throne and cymbals included. Despite the entry-level price, the shells have well-cut bearing edges that make them easy to tune when it's time for a head change, and the hardware is double-braced to handle hard playing.

• Complete package, just set up and play
• Well-cut bearing edges that are easy to tune
• Double-braced hardware for stability
• Glued wrap finish, like on pricier drum sets
• Chain-drive bass drum pedal

Construction and shells

The shells are built from 6-ply poplar laminate, totaling 7 mm, cut with Tama's Precision bearing edge for even tuning across the whole head. The wrap is glued directly to the shell the same way as on Tama's higher-end series, giving the set a look and feel closer to a much more expensive drum set. The Sea Blue Mist finish gives the set a clean look.

Hardware and cymbals

The stands are double-braced and built to handle hard playing, with the stability Tama's hardware is known for. The set includes a boom cymbal stand, hi-hat stand, snare stand, bass drum pedal (chain-drive), drum throne and an Omnisphere double tom holder for easy mounting of the mounted toms. The included cymbals are a 14" hi-hat and a 16" ride.

Who It's For

Stagestar is a good choice if you want a complete, ready-to-play drum set without having to buy hardware, a throne or cymbals separately. A solid option for a first drum set or a reliable practice kit.
