Tama Stagestar 5-pc ST52H5C-BNS - Black Night Sparkle

Product Description

The Tama Stagestar ST52H5C-BNS is a complete drum kit finished in Black Night Sparkle, including hardware, throne and cymbals. Despite its entry-level price, the kit has well-cut bearing edges and sturdy, double-braced hardware, so you can sit down and play right out of the box.

The shells are built from 6 plies of poplar laminate at a total of 7 mm and feature Tama's own Precision bearing edge cut, which makes the drums easy to tune when it's time to change heads. The wrap is fully glued to the shells just like on more expensive kits, giving a sturdier result and a sharper look.

Hardware and pedal

Tama is known for its stable hardware, and the Stagestar offers double-braced stands that hold up to hard playing despite the price range. The kit includes a boom cymbal stand, hi-hat stand, snare stand, drum throne and a chain-drive bass drum pedal for consistent response. The tom holder is Tama's Omnisphere system, which makes angling and mounting the toms simple.

Drums and cymbals

The kit consists of a 22x16 bass drum, 10x8 and 12x9 mounted toms, a 16x15 floor tom with its own legs, and a 14x5.5 snare drum. A 14" hi-hat and a 16" ride cymbal are also included.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want your first real drum kit or need a reliable, complete set without buying hardware, throne or cymbals separately.
