Tama Stagestar 5-pc - Candy Red Sparkle

Product Description

The Tama Stagestar ST52H5C-CDS is a complete 5-piece drum kit in Candy Red Sparkle finish, including stands, drum stool and cymbals. A great choice if you want a full kit ready to play straight away, without buying hardware or cymbals separately.

• Complete kit with stands, stool and cymbals
• Well-cut shell bearing edges for easy head changes
• Double-braced stands that handle hard playing
• Fully glued wrap finish as used on pricier kits
• Chain-drive bass drum pedal

Construction

The shells are built from 6-ply poplar laminate totalling 7 mm, with Tama's precision bearing edge cut that keeps the drums easy to tune for future head changes. The wrap finish is glued directly to the shells, the same method used on more expensive kits, giving a premium look and feel at an affordable price. Shell sizes are 22x16 bass drum, 10x8 and 12x9 mounted toms, 16x15 floor tom with legs, and 14x5.5 snare drum.

Hardware and cymbals

Tama is known for stable hardware, and the Stagestar comes with sturdy double-braced stands for its price class. The kit includes a boom cymbal stand, hi-hat stand, snare stand, bass drum pedal (chain-drive), drum stool, and a double tom holder (Omnisphere) for easy handling of the mounted toms. The included cymbals are a 14" hi-hat and a 16" ride.

Who it's for

A good choice if you want a complete, affordable starter kit that still feels well-built, thanks to the fully glued wrap finish and sturdy stands.
