Tama Speed Cobra Jr. Single, Limited Edition - Matte Black & Brushed Copper

Product Description

The Tama Speed Cobra Jr. HP310LBC is a limited edition single pedal in matte black with brushed copper accents. It shares the same longboard footboard, double chain drive and sprocket as the best-selling Speed Cobra, delivering a fast, powerful feel with excellent balance.

The copper accents stand out nicely against the otherwise matte black design, making the HP310LBC a striking single pedal. Its bigger sibling, the HP910, offers sharper features and more adjustment options, but the HP310 provides the same great balance and dynamic playing feel at a more accessible price.

Footboard and Technique

The longboard footboard offers speed and power, and leaves room for heel-toe technique. Its low-friction surface makes it easier to use the sliding technique, where the foot slides forward on the footboard for the second stroke of a double.

Sprocket and Drive

Speed Cobra's Recessed Setting/Lite Sprocket uses a round chain wheel for a naturally responsive feel while keeping the pedal hyper-fast and powerful. The sprocket is 40% lighter than the equivalent wheel on the Iron Cobra. The pedal runs on a Double Chain Drive.

Adjustment and Beater

Spring tension and beater angle can be adjusted separately, and the beater is dual sided, offering different tonal characteristics depending on which side strikes the head.
