Tama SLP DUO Birch 14"x10" - Transparent Mocha
A unique hybrid of floor tom and snare drum in birch. Engage the snare wires for snare tone, release them for floor tom feel. 14x10" on legs.
Product Description
The Tama SLP DUO Birch is an exciting combination of floor tom and snare drum. Engage the snare wires and you get a full snare sound; release them and the drum works as a floor tom instead. Thanks to its own legs, it's easy to place anywhere in the kit.
The shell is built from 7 mm, 7-ply birch for a full and direct tone, and the bottom head is a genuine snare-side head. Not a standard resonant head. Which makes the snare setting convincing. The MCS70 snare mechanism switches quickly between modes, and the 8-hole Sound Arc hoop contributes to an open, resonant sound. The Transparent Mocha finish gives the shell a warm, translucent look that lets the birch grain show through.
A smart choice if you want two sounds in one drum. For example in smaller setups, or when you want to switch feel without swapping drums on stage or in the studio.
