Tama SLP Classic Maple LMP1455-SMP

Product Description

The Tama SLP Classic Maple LMP1455-SMP is a classic snare drum with a maple shell and a warm, easy-to-tune sound. It's a great fit for classic rock and pop, where tonal nuance matters more than raw volume.

The shell is built from maple with Sound Arc tension hoops, making the drum unusually easy to tune. The tone has clear body and a tight snare response, thanks to the Super Sensitive snare wires fitted to the drum. The snare mechanism (MSL50) is the same design found on Tama's Starphonic snares, giving a direct and reliable snare response.

Construction

The shell is maple, and the tension hoops are Sound Arc, contributing to both stability and a warm, round tone. The snare wires are Super Sensitive MS20RL14C, mounted via the MSL50 mechanism for a clear and consistent snare response.

Who It's For

A good choice if you play classic rock and pop and want a maple snare with warm tone and clear response, without sacrificing ease of tuning.
