Product Description
The Tama SLP Big Black Steel LST148 is a classic steel snare drum with a hardened 14"x8" shell in 1 mm steel and a menacing Flat Black finish. The hardware is finished throughout in Black Chrome Steel Mighty, giving the drum a raw, cohesive look. The shell delivers a classic snare sound with clear Ian Paice overtones.
Swap in a low-tuned Evans HDD head and a different side of the drum opens up – it works just as well for heavy ballads as for fat, dry beats. That makes the LST148 a flexible snare for players who want a straightforward steel tone but still room to shape it to the song.
