Product Description

Tama Starclassic Performer M/B is a 5-piece shell pack in Maple and Birch with the finish Molten Steel Blue Burst. The kit gives a focused sound with clear attack and responds well with both open single-ply heads and thick double-ply heads.

Dimensions

The kit consists of a 22" x 16" bass drum, 10" x 7" and 12" x 8" toms, and 14" x 12" and 16" x 14" floor toms. The toms and floor toms are built with a 6mm shell in 4 plies of Birch and 2 plies of Maple, while the bass drum has a 7mm shell in 5 plies of Birch and 2 plies of Maple.

Technology

The toms are mounted in Star-Cast tom suspension and attached with Star Quick-Lock tom holders that have quick release and memory lock handling. The hoops are Die-Cast for a focused sound, and the bass drum has cast claw hooks with rubber bushings. The clamps are MC69 Fast Clamp with ball rod.

Included

The kit comes with 2 MC69 tom clamps, but a snare drum is not included. The toms are fitted with EVANS G1 Coated batter heads, and the bass drum has an EVANS EQ4 batter head fitted from the factory.

Use

The floor tom's legs have rubber feet with an air pocket that stop the floor tom from losing sound. The kit suits both studio and live use.
