Tama Mighty Hoop 14" - Brass
Tama Mighty Hoop brass batter-side hoop, 14", 8 holes. Sharper, brighter attack with rich overtones.
Product Description
The Tama Custom Brass Mighty Hoop is a brass batter-side hoop for a 14" drum with 8 holes. It gives a sharper, brighter attack with rich overtones thanks to the brass construction and a slightly straight hoop edge.
Swap out a standard steel hoop for this brass hoop and you'll notice it mainly in the attack: it becomes sharper and brighter in character, with more overtones carrying through after the stick hits the head. The slightly straight hoop edge is part of what gives it this character.
Fits as a batter-side hoop on a 14" drum with 8 holes, such as a snare drum.
