Product Description
The TAMA MDH14-8 is a 14" die-cast hoop with 8 holes, made from die-cast zinc. It delivers a sharp, tight sound with a solid, well-defined rimshot – a good choice if you want to upgrade your snare drum or need a replacement hoop.
Die-cast hoops are cast in one piece, making them stiffer and more stable than folded steel hoops. This shows in the feel: rimshots come out clearer and more focused, and the hoop contributes to a tighter, more controlled sound compared to a lighter hoop. With 8 holes it fits drums with a matching number of tension rods.
