The TAMA MCS70A is a Push/Pull action snare strainer fitted as standard on several TAMA snare drums. It's usually paired with its counterpart, the MCS70B, and suits players needing an original or replacement part for an existing drum.
This strainer comes standard on the Starclassic Performer, Superstar, Soundworks, Metalworks and certain S.L.P. models. The hole spacing between the mounting screws is 36 mm, useful to know when checking fit or compatibility.
