Tama Imperialstar IP62H6WC-HBK - Hairline Black

Product Description

Tama Imperialstar IP62H6WC-HBK is a complete 6-piece drum set in Hairline Black finish with Chrome Hardware. The set ships ready to play with a hardware pack, Meinl HCS cymbals and a drum stool, and is built to hold up through a beginner's first years behind the kit.

The shells are 100% Poplar, 6 ply, 8 mm total, with Tama's Precision Bearing Edges for an even attack all around the rim. The wrap is fully glued to the shell, giving an optimized sound and a professional look compared to cheaper gluing methods.

Drums in the set

• Bass drum 22"x18"
• Mounted toms 10"x7" and 12"x8"
• Floor toms 14"x12" and 16"x14"
• Snare drum 14x5"

The toms sit in Tama's OMNISPHERE Tom Holder, a tom mount with good adjustment options. The bass drum has wood hoops (Wood Bass Drum Hoops) in a matching finish, giving a unified look and contributing to the tone. According to Tama, the snare mechanism and tom mount hold a high standard even on this entry-level set.

Stands, pedal and stool

The hardware comes from Tama's Stagemaster series: a hi-hat stand, snare stand, one boom stand and one straight cymbal stand, all double-braced for stability. Also included is an Iron Cobra 200 bass drum pedal (model HP200P) and an HT25 drum stool, so there's nothing extra to buy to get started.

Cymbals

The set ships with a complete set of Meinl HCS cymbals: 14" hi-hat, 16" crash and 20" ride.

Who It's For
