Construction

The shells are built from 100% poplar, 6 ply, with a total thickness of 8 mm, and feature Tama Precision Bearing Edges for even contact with the head. The wrap is fully glued to the shell, giving a stable, professional look and contributing to the sound. The bass drum hoops are wood with a finish matching the bass drum.

Hardware and cymbals

The toms hang in the OMNISPHERE Tom Holder, a stable tom mount with good adjustment options. The hardware pack is from Tama's Stagemaster series and is double-braced for stability: hi-hat stand, snare stand, one boom stand and one straight cymbal stand. Rounding it out is an Iron Cobra 200P bass drum pedal and a stable drum throne. The kit ships with Meinl HCS cymbals: 14" hi-hat, 16" crash and 20" ride.

Sizes

Bass drum 20"x16", mounted toms 10"x7" and 12"x8", floor tom 14"x12" and snare drum 14"x5".

Who It's For

A good choice for anyone buying their first drum kit who wants stable, easy-to-play hardware to grow with. The shells are easy to tune and hold up well as the first eager steps in a drumming career move on to the next level. Want to expand the kit later on? Extra toms can be ordered separately.
