Product Description
Tama Dyna-Sync is a professional double bass drum pedal with direct drive, built for precise and immediate response. It's based on Tama's well-known Cobra platform but introduces a range of technical updates – from transmission and footboard to an entirely new beater type. The result is a twin pedal you can fine-tune to fit exactly how you play.
Optimized power transmission
By precisely positioning the contact points between the cam, direct link, and footboard, Tama's engineers achieved a strong balance between power, speed, and feel. A dual link between cam and footboard optimizes power transfer and delivers stability on every stroke. The upper cam section can be adjusted steplessly in depth, letting you dial in anything from a fully linear response to a more dynamic feel.
Adjustable footboard and new Sync-Coil
The footboard angle can be adjusted steplessly without affecting the linkage – a solution Tama's engineers developed specifically for Dyna-Sync. Underneath the footboard sits the Sync-Coil, a return spring with 1.5 times higher stiffness than the previous Cobra coil, giving a faster footboard return. The Sync-Coil is also steplessly adjustable in depth, so you can set exactly the return that feels best to you.
Dyna Beater
The pedal comes with an entirely new beater type, the Dyna Beater. The beater head is made from black felt with a slightly tapered shape, giving an even attack and clearer articulation.
