The Tama HT250 is the entry model in the 1st Chair series, but still a genuinely smooth drum throne with an MC-saddle seat. The seat is slightly thinner than the other MC-saddle seats in the range, which lets this throne go lower than its siblings – ideal if you sit low or play on a compact, low-set kit.
The molded saddle seat spreads pressure more evenly than a flat seat, so long sessions feel more comfortable on your hips and back. The base is double-braced for stability, and the upper shaft is threaded with a built-in memory lock – set your height once, and you can return to that exact position instantly next time.
