Synthwave EZX

Product Description

Synthwave EZX is a sound expansion from Toontrack featuring 20 mix-ready drum kits, built from a total of around 440 individually engineered source sounds. The expansion captures the dark, gritty and futuristic sound of '80s synthwave, drawing on razor-sharp synths, pulsating basses and machine-like beats.

Each kit is built around the quintessential drum machines of the era, then mixed, matched and layered to create new, unique takes without compromising authenticity. Every instrument in the collection carries that typically dark, gritty and dystopian synthwave vibe from the very first hit.

Each kit also comes with its own corresponding basic pool of MIDI grooves, so you can start building ideas right away instead of programming from scratch.

Behind the production

Synthwave EZX was produced by Belgian DJ, producer and composer Timofey Reznikov, known for his work with David Guetta, Regi and Dimitri Vegas. The kits are built from mixed and matched layers of organic and electronic drums, classic percussion and textured effects, blending a modern edge with genuine '80s character.

Who It's For

A good choice if you produce synthwave, retrowave or modern pop with a clear '80s edge and want mix-ready drum sounds without building the sonic palette from the ground up yourself.
