Synthwave

Product Description

Synthwave is an EZkeys MIDI pack from Toontrack featuring piano/keyboard MIDI inspired by synthwave and '80s-style pop. The material was performed by a professional session player and gives you ready-made chord progressions and lead melodies to build tracks around directly in EZkeys.

The soundtrack to the '80s had a shrill synth hook, a repetitive eighth-note bass and a machine-like beat, and synth aesthetics went on to shape music, film and fashion for an entire generation. Unlike other styles that simply faded, synthwave has come full circle and is as vital today as it was then. This pack draws on that legacy, giving you raw musical material for crafting modern tracks with a distinct '80s feel.

What's included

• Catchy lead melodies
• Pulsating basslines
• Timeless chord progressions
• Ready-made sections: intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus and bridge

Structure

The MIDI files are organized into two separate folders, one for chords and one for melody, so you can quickly find the right building block for your track. Everything is recorded in 4/4 time with a straight feel, at tempos ranging from 75 to 144 BPM.

Who It's For

A great fit if you produce synthwave, retrowave or '80s-inspired pop and want professionally performed starting points for piano and keyboard instead of programming everything from scratch.
