ProMark SPYR SV4R - Natural
SPYR vibraphone mallets from ProMark, rattan with a cord-wrapped head, deliver a bright, articulate sound. Hardness 7.
Product Description
The SPYR SV4R vibraphone mallets from ProMark feature a small, oval mallet head wrapped in cord for a bright, articulate sound. They're built for concert and unamplified settings where you need mallets that project clearly through an ensemble.
The mallets have rattan handles and a very hard head construction, rated hardness 7 within the SPYR series. The hard, compact mallet head gives a clear attack with strong projection, making these mallets especially suited to concert playing and acoustic ensembles where the sound needs to cut through without amplification.
About the SPYR series
SPYR is a collaboration between ProMark and percussionists, designers and educators Kevin Shah and Tony Nunez. Designed with the educator in mind, the series covers the full spectrum of sounds needed on keyboard instruments across a variety of ensembles and performances, so educators no longer need multiple mallet lines to outfit their different groups.
