Strata Cons 40''
Synthetic 40" orchestral drum head with calfskin feel. Available in 0.25mm and 0.35mm, with or without Power Center.
Product Description
The Evans Strata Cons is a synthetic 40" head developed for concert bass drum, with a feel close to genuine calfskin. The tone is open and full, and the head is available in two thicknesses as well as with or without a center reinforcement, so you can choose the character that suits your needs.
The head comes in 0.25mm and 0.35mm. The thinner option gives a slightly more dynamic tone with greater sensitivity to nuance, while the thicker 0.35mm head responds with a clearer, more defined attack.
With or Without Power Center
Strata Cons is also available with a Power Center, a reinforcement in the middle of the head. It focuses the tone and gives a clearer, more pronounced low end, compared to the more open, freer tone of the head without reinforcement.
