Stagg SH China
China cymbal with a raw, short and explosive sound. Classic china attitude in five sizes.
Product Description
The Stagg SH China is a china cymbal that blends the traditional, raw china sound with a more Western tonal character. The result is a short, bright and slightly explosive sound that cuts through clearly without becoming too harsh. The cymbal is available in five sizes, from 12 to 20 inches, so you can choose the character and volume that suits your kit and playing style.
China cymbals are often used as effects cymbals. A sharp, trashy interruption in a fill or an accent in a chorus. The SH China delivers that classic trashy attitude but with a bit more control in the tone, making it easy to work with both in the rehearsal room and on stage.
Sizes to choose from
- 12"
- 14"
- 16"
- 18"
- 20"
Smaller sizes give a faster, brighter and shorter sound. Great as spice in a groove. The larger sizes give more volume and longer sustain, which suits them better as a closing effect or in heavier musical contexts.
