Product Description
The Soft Sound Ring is a foam rubber mute ring that sits on top of the head and noticeably reduces the volume of an acoustic drum, without choking the tone. This 14" ring fits a tom or snare drum of that size and keeps the shell's natural tone and playing feel intact.
Made from 6mm thick foam rubber, the ring has an open center hole that lets the head keep vibrating naturally in the middle of the playing surface. This preserves the acoustic feel and tone of the shell while significantly cutting down the overall volume.
The Soft Sound Ring is available in sizes from 8" to 16" in diameter, sold either individually or in pre-configured packs for a full drum kit.
