Specialmodell och Vintage 14"
14" replacement snare wires for vintage snare drums from Tama, Yamaha, Ludwig and Sonor.
Product Description
Specialty snare wires for vintage snare drums, 14" across all models. If your snare is an older or less common make, a standard modern wire set often won't fit properly, and that's where these come in.
Older snare drums often have different dimensions and mounting points than today's standard models, so finding the right snare wires matters. The three models below cover several common vintage makes and differ in strand count and fit.
| Model | Fits | Strand count | Image |
| 2020T | Fits Tama Imperial Star, among others | 20 strands | |
| 2020Y | Fits Yamaha and Ludwig, among others | 20 strands | |
| S-1416 | Fits older Sonor snares | 16 strands | |
Who It's For
Ideal if you own a vintage snare drum and need snare wires that actually match the mounts and size of your specific drum, instead of forcing on a modern standard set that doesn't sit right.
