Toca T-WRS
Toca wooden pod rattle on string with Siam Oak pods for a waterfall-like sound on your percussion rig.
Product Description
A wooden pod rattle from Toca, strung with pods made of Siam Oak. When shaken, it produces an eccentric, waterfall-like sound that works both in musical settings and therapeutic applications.
Toca's new series of wooden rattles comes in three different styles, and this is Set1. The version built to be hung from any percussion rig. The sound is organic and slightly irregular, making it a nice way to add texture without dominating the mix.
Sound and use
The waterfall-like effect comes from the Siam Oak pods knocking against each other as the rattle is shaken. It works well both as a musical accent within a percussion setup and in calmer, more therapeutic contexts where a soft, natural sound is wanted.
Who It's For
A good choice if you want to add an organic sound to your percussion arsenal that stands apart from classic shakers. Especially useful if you already run a rig-based setup, since Set1 is designed to hang directly from it.
