Songwriters Drumpack 2

Product Description

Songwriters Drumpack 2 is a MIDI pack from Toontrack with more than 450 individually played files, organized as complete song structures. Drag and drop a file and you have a full, pro-played drum track laid down in minutes. It's built for songwriters and producers who want a fast, musical drum foundation without programming every bar themselves.

Following the success of the two earlier packs in the series, Songwriters Drumpack and Songwriters Fillpack, Toontrack returns with a library built around full song structures rather than loose loops. The files are organized as separate songs featuring complete intros, verses, pre-choruses, choruses, bridges and fills, with variations within each section.

Content and playing style

• More than 450 individually played files
• Categorized into different songs: ballad, midtempo, uptempo and shuffle
• Full 4–8 bar intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus, bridge and fill sections, with variations in each song
• Different meters in both swing and straight feel
• Played by studio drummer Peter Fredlander

Compatibility

Works with EZdrummer, EZdrummer 2, Superior Drummer 2 and Superior Drummer 3. The MIDI files are optimized for a setup with 1 kick, 1 snare, 2 toms, 1 floor tom, 2 crash cymbals and 1 ride cymbal.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want ready-made, musical drum arrangements to build songs around instead of programming drum tracks from scratch. Works equally well as a starting point for a demo or a finished production.
