Tama SLP Fat Spruce LSP146 - Wild Satin Spruce
Spruce snare drum with a full, round tone and plenty of pop in higher tunings.
Product Description
The Tama SLP Fat Spruce LSP146 is a snare drum built with an 8-ply spruce shell, delivering a round, full sound without needing a hard hit. It works equally well in low and high tunings, and even holds up in acoustic settings.
Spruce is a soft, musically exciting wood that gives the Fat Spruce a round tone that responds even to light strokes. The die-cast hoops focus the sound so it performs well across several tunings. The full sound carries warmth and works great at low tunings, while offering plenty of "pop" at higher tunings. The Fat Spruce also holds its own in demanding acoustic settings thanks to its warm tone, which is easy to dial in across tunings.
