Tama Silverstar Cocktail-Jam - Indigo Sparkle

Product Description

The Tama Silverstar Cocktail-Jam is a compact drum kit built for easy transport and tight stages. The bass drum stands upright like a floor tom, and the whole kit nests together for transport, fitting into the two included bags. The kit comes in Indigo Sparkle finish, with hardware, an X-hi-hat stand and a bass drum pedal included.

The Cocktail-Jam kit is built to be one of the most portable drum kits around, without sacrificing sound. For transport the drums nest drum-in-drum and fit into the two included bags. The bass drum doubles as a stand: the floor tom sits on top of it, and the rack tom and snare clamp onto the legs of the floor tom/bass drum.

Sound and construction

The shells are built from 100% birch with well-cut bearing edges, despite the compact format. The bass drum pedal strikes upward against the head, and a Sound Focus Pad helps the bass drum deliver a surprisingly full sound for its small size. The 12x5" snare drum gives a funky, distinct character compared to larger snares.

Who it's for

A great choice if you want a complete drum kit that fits in the trunk of a car or on a tight stage. Works well for the gigging drummer, practicing at home in an apartment, or as a spare kit for spontaneous gigs.
