The Silentstroke Practice Pad from Remo is a quiet practice pad fitted with a Silentstroke head that cuts volume by roughly 80% compared to a regular drum, without sacrificing playing feel. The pad measures 8" and can be mounted on a stand or simply placed on a tabletop.

Mounting

The pad has a 6 mm thread and screws onto a standard cymbal or tom stand. Prefer practicing at a desk? It works just as well set directly on a table – the foam ring on the underside keeps it steady and dampens any sound transferred to the surface.
