The sE Electronics V7 is a dynamic supercardioid vocal microphone built in an all-metal housing to withstand rigorous touring schedules. It delivers a crisp, open sound with excellent gain before feedback on stage.

sE Electronics has long supplied studio microphones and Reflexion Filters to live sound engineers around the world, used by acts such as Linkin Park, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Black Sabbath, Billy Idol, Paramore and My Morning Jacket. With that knowledge, sE has entered the world of dynamic mics with the V Series, built for the road while still performing at a studio-grade level.

All-metal housing and beveled spring steel grille

The chassis is made from a high-quality, highly durable zinc alloy with no plastic parts, designed to hold up under on-stage stress for years. The spring steel mesh grille is dent-proof and corrosion-free. The beveled edge around the grille prevents the mic from rolling around when placed on top of an amp or the stage floor. The gold-plated XLR connector ensures a loss-free and reliable signal connection for years to come.

Internal windscreen

An internal windscreen efficiently reduces unwanted wind noise and plosive pops. The microphone ships in sE's signature red color, but a spare black internal windscreen is included in the box if you prefer a black look.

Specialized aluminum voice coil

The DMC7 dynamic element in the V7 has been custom-developed for a crisp, open sound that captures the voice naturally on stage. Its supercardioid capsule design helps isolate the voice from other instruments, allowing for significantly more gain before feedback. Proven neodymium magnets, tight production tolerances and high-end workmanship ensure excellent sensitivity, superior sound quality and consistency between units.

Patented integrated shock mount

A brand-new, patented shock mount efficiently decouples the capsule from mechanical vibration, providing exceptionally low handling noise compared to other mics in its class. This lets you move around freely on stage without rumbles, pops, or anything other than your voice coming through.
