It shares the capsule technology of the acclaimed V7, including a specialized aluminum voice coil for a crisp, open vocal sound. Its supercardioid pickup pattern gives plenty of gain before feedback and isolates the voice efficiently from other instruments, whether you're playing arenas or small clubs.

The mic uses the DMC7 X dynamic capsule, custom-developed for a crisp, open sound that captures your voice naturally on stage. The sophisticated supercardioid design offers vast amounts of gain before feedback and helps isolate your voice from other instruments, making it a reliable choice in loud clubs and noisy venues. Proven neodymium magnets, tight production tolerances and high-end workmanship ensure excellent sensitivity, superior sound quality and consistency between units.

Construction

A patented integrated shockmount decouples the capsule from mechanical vibration, giving exceptionally low handling noise compared to other mics in its class, so you can move freely on stage without fear of rumble or pops. The chassis is all metal, built from a highly durable zinc alloy designed to hold up under on-stage stress for years. The grille is spring steel, dent-proof and corrosion-free, with a beveled edge that keeps the mic from rolling away when set down on an amp or the stage floor.
