Product Description

sE Electronics V7 Gold is a dynamic vocal microphone in the V Series, built with supercardioid technology and a DMC7 dynamic element. It delivers a natural and dynamic sound and is built for stage use during rigorous touring.

Sound

The microphone picks up sound with a supercardioid pattern, which means it captures sound from the front and reduces sound from the sides. The DMC7 element has a voice coil in aluminium and a neodymium magnet. The frequency range is 40 Hz - 19 kHz, the impedance is 300 Ohm and the sensitivity is 2.0 mV/Pa (-54 dB). Connection is via an XLR male connector.

Construction

The chassis is made from zinc alloy and the grille from steel. The microphone is gold coloured, has a diameter of 54 mm, a length of 184 mm and weighs 305g.

Function

A built-in shockmount eliminates vibrations and a built-in pop filter reduces wind noise. The centre ring has flat sides that stop the microphone from rolling away. sE Electronics describes it as reliable and robust for long tours.

What's Included

Included is a case, a microphone holder and a thread adapter. In addition, 1 extra pop filter is included on top of the one fitted to the microphone.
