The sE Electronics V7 Black is a rugged supercardioid dynamic microphone built for the stage, developed from years of touring experience behind acts like Linkin Park, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and Black Sabbath. Its all-metal housing and custom DMC7 capsule deliver a crisp, natural vocal sound with plenty of gain before feedback. A patented integrated shock mount keeps handling noise to a minimum.

Built for the road

The chassis is made from high quality, highly durable zinc alloy designed to hold up under on-stage stress for years. The spring steel mesh grille is dent-proof and corrosion-free, and the beveled edge around the grille keeps the mic from rolling around when you set it down on your amp or the stage floor. The gold-plated XLR connector ensures a loss-free, reliable signal connection for years to come.

Sound and capsule

The dynamic DMC7 element has been custom-developed for a crisp, open sound that captures your voice naturally on stage. Its supercardioid capsule design helps isolate your voice from other instruments, giving you plenty of gain before feedback. Proven neodymium magnets, tight production tolerances and high-end workmanship ensure excellent sensitivity, superior sound quality and consistent performance. An internal windscreen efficiently reduces wind noise and plosive pops, and a spare black windscreen is included in the box in case you don't want the standard red one. The patented shock mount decouples the capsule from mechanical vibration, giving exceptionally low handling noise compared to other mics in its class, so you can move freely on stage without rumbles or pops creeping into the signal.
