Product Description
The sE Electronics Reflexion Filter X (RF-X) is a portable microphone reflection filter that shields your vocal recordings from unwanted room reflections. Built with a lightweight vented body and a four-layer acoustic design, it lets you capture clean, professional-sounding vocals in almost any room.
Unwanted room sound is one of the biggest obstacles to a great home recording. The RF-X uses the same design technology as sE's industry-standard Reflexion Filter PRO, scaled down to suit recording artists working on a budget. A redesigned, efficient clamp assembly makes it quick to mount on your mic stand, and the lightweight vented body keeps handling simple without sacrificing durability.
Acoustic Design
The RF-X uses a four-layer acoustic filter: an outer vented composite panel, a wool fabric layer, an air gap layer, and an inner acoustic foam layer. This layered construction filters frequencies evenly across the whole spectrum, so recordings come out with almost zero sound coloration compared to simpler filters.
