Product Description
sE Electronics V-KICK is a microphone built for bass drum, bass speaker, floor tom and other large drums. It gives an open and transient-rich sound with strong low-frequency energy and punch, with four switchable sound characters via two switches.
Sound
The midrange is balanced and supports the natural resonances of percussion instruments. The dynamic capsule has a neodymium magnet and an aluminium voice coil, giving a supercardioid polar pattern that picks up less sound from the sides and focuses on the source right in front.
Construction
The housing is die-cast in a zinc alloy and the microphone has an integrated swivel joint that makes placement flexible. The capsule sits in a patented integrated suspension. The XLR connector is gold-plated and connection is via a 3-pin XLR.
Function
Impedance is 300 Ohm and sensitivity is 0.2 / 0.4 mV/Pa (-69 / -75 dBV). A red inner windscreen reduces pop and wind noise.
Included
Included in delivery are a thread adaptor, zip-up pouch, extra black inner windscreen and an sE logo sticker. A user manual and a knurled nut for third-party accessories are also included.
