Product Description

Dynacaster is a dynamic microphone from sE Electronics with an all-metal housing and premium finish. It combines a front-address cardioid capsule in aluminium with a built-in DYNAMITE booster for extra signal strength.

Technology

The DYNAMITE booster gives +30dB of gain at the push of a button, but it requires 48V phantom power to work. Two EQ switches give six different equalizer settings, and a gold-plated XLR connector is used for the connection.

Sound

The sound is described as natural and intimate, with a warm low end and a transparent, airy top end. The microphone isolates the voice from unwanted ambient noise.

Construction

The microphone has an integrated three-layer pop filter that protects against plosives, and a patented internal shock mount that reduces handling noise and vibrations. A wide swivel range allows flexible placement on a microphone stand or desktop arm. The design is described as built like a tank, robust in its construction.

Included

The package includes a thread adapter, an sE logo sticker, an external windscreen and a user manual. The external windscreen provides extra protection against plosives and reduces wind noise outdoors. The microphone is suitable for singers, podcasters, livestreamers, musicians, sound engineers and producers.
