Product Description
The Schlagwerk Groovy Shaker is a small, light and highly durable wooden shaker that combines the sound of a classic shaker with the playing scope of a Caixixi. Play it horizontally and it sounds like a shaker, play it vertically and it turns into a Caixixi. A clever design that gives you two instruments in one.
The body is made from birch and beech wood combined with varying fine woods such as walnut, Zebrano and Padouk, giving each shaker its own look and character. It's built around a two-chamber system, and Schlagwerk uses premium components throughout to ensure the best possible sound and lasting quality.
Two Playing Styles in One Instrument
Held horizontally, it delivers a tight, classic shaker sound. Turned vertically, it behaves like a Caixixi with a different rhythmic character. That makes it a versatile choice for a wide range of percussion settings, from studio work to live playing.
