Schlagwerk RTS41 Ø 40 cm/16"

Product Description

The Schlagwerk RTS41 is a natural-sized frame drum, Ø 40 cm, with a handselected goatskin that gives a completely pure and natural sound. The skin is tuned using 8 tuning screws integrated within the frame, allowing subtle nuances in tone and volume. A wooden cross on the back makes the drum comfortable and convenient to hold while playing.

The frame is made of beech wood and has a frame height of 8 cm. The 8 integrated tuning screws let you fine-tune the sound from a deep, full tone to brighter, more distinct nuances. A tuning key is included to make adjustments easy.

Construction and playing feel

The wooden cross on the back, included on the RTS41, gives you a stable, comfortable grip while playing with your hands. The combination of the beech frame and goatskin produces a natural, pure tone typical of traditional frame drums.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want an acoustically pure frame drum with a wide tuning range, for example for percussion in smaller ensembles, world music settings, or personal practice.
