RTB14BLK NeoTrad 14" - Black/Brown

Product Description

The Schlagwerk NeoTrad is a modern bodhran in 14" size, finished in Black/Brown, developed together with bodhran experts to combine a huge sound palette with a clever, tool-free head change and tuning system. The frame is built from 5-ply beech for optimum weight, and the head is a modified Fiberskyn3 coat head with excellent tuning stability. A tipper is included.

The NeoTrad brings the classic, versatile bodhran sound together with smart construction. The birch bayonet head change system makes it easy to change or tune the head without tools, a real advantage over traditional bodhrans that often require more effort. Despite the modern system, the drum keeps a timeless look and a convincing, authentic sound.

Construction

The frame is built from 5-ply beech, giving a well-balanced weight without compromising stability. Frame height is approx. 14 cm. The head is a modified Fiberskyn3 coat head, known for its tuning stability and warm, natural attack.

Who It's For

A great choice if you want a bodhran with traditional sound but modern, practical solutions for tuning and head changes. Equally useful in the rehearsal room and on stage.
