Schlagwerk Pan Chick 210x56x15 mm

Product Description

The Schlagwerk Pan Chick is a small percussion accessory that mounts directly onto your handpan, adding an extra percussive layer to its sound. The tone is a warm "chick" sound, somewhere between a hi-hat's chick, ritual rattles, cha cha nuts and shakers. It attaches easily with a magnet and can be placed freely on the pan.

• Complements the handpan's sound with a warm chick tone
• Easy magnet mounting, no permanent attachment
• Flexible construction that adapts to the shape of the pan
• Free placement anywhere on the handpan's surface

Placement and Sound

The sound unfolds best when the Pan Chick is placed vertically between the tone fields on the handpan. Its flexible construction lets it follow the curves of the pan rather than sitting rigidly against the surface, giving a more natural and controllable sound as you play.

Construction and Material

The Pan Chick is made from a flexible cotton tube and held in place with a built-in magnet, making it quick to mount and reposition without stressing the surface of the pan.

Who It's For

A great choice if you already play handpan and want to expand your sound palette with an extra percussive layer, without adding a separate instrument or using invasive mounting.
