Schlagwerk JSR90 Jingle Stick Rapid – Brass Jingles
Schlagwerk Jingle Stick in ash with brass jingles. Four individually dampened pairs for a controlled, balanced sound.
Product Description
The Schlagwerk JSR90 Jingle Stick Rapid is an ash jingle stick fitted with brass jingles for a balanced, characterful sound. The jingles can be individually dampened to suit the piece you're playing, and the hand position, similar to that of a shaker, allows for very controlled playing.
The brass jingles are imbued with a completely unique character. These small jingles are associated with everything from sleigh bells to festive cymbals and are a feature of numerous songs. The JSR90 creates a completely balanced brass jingle sound which, thanks to the dampening option, can also be individually adjusted to suit particular applications.
Construction
The stick is made from ash and carries four pairs of brass jingles. Each jingle pair can be dampened individually, letting you control exactly how much ring and sustain is left in the sound.
Playing Feel
The hand position is similar to that of a shaker, giving a stable grip and a very controlled playing style, even at faster tempos.
