Schlagwerk Frame Buzz 280 x 65 mm
Frame Buzz by Schlagwerk, a snare spiral attachment for frame drums ≥40 cm. Delivers fast, sensitive snare response.
Product Description
The Frame Buzz is Schlagwerk's proven buzz attachment for frame drums, adding a fast-responding, sensitive snare-like sizzle to any frame drum with a diameter of 40 cm or more. It mounts on the outside of the drum using the included Frameclamps and works with frame drums up to approximately 16 mm thick.
Construction and Sound
The Frame Buzz uses 12 snare spirals mounted on an oak playing surface, measuring approximately 280 x 65 mm. Its flexible construction lets the spirals respond quickly to the drum's vibrations, adding a sensitive, snare-like buzz to your playing without altering the drum itself.
Attachment
The unit attaches to the outside of the frame using the supplied Frameclamps, so no permanent modification is needed. It's designed to fit frame drums with a rim thickness of up to about 16 mm.
