Schlagwerk Einklang Coast Drum Light 20"

Product Description

The Coast Drum Light is a lightweight, pre-tuned frame drum from Schlagwerk with a Ø 50 cm head, built with a mesh material so the skin can vibrate freely for an open, lively sound. It's well suited for therapeutic use, sound baths, meditations, and classical frame drum playing.

Thanks to the proven construction with mesh material, the head can vibrate freely, giving the drum its open and lively character. Between the goatskin and the mesh material sits a finely tuned mixture of glass and steel balls. The quantity of balls can be reduced via a side screw if needed, allowing you to adjust the intensity of the sound.

Construction

The head is made of goatskin, and the frame is 7-ply glued beech wood. The drum measures Ø 50 x 6 cm and weighs approximately 720 g, making it easy to handle during longer sessions.

Who It's For

The Coast Drum Light is a good choice if you work with sound therapy, sound baths, or meditation, but it works just as well in classical frame drum playing where you want an open, floating sound with the ability to adjust the intensity yourself.
