Schlagwerk Einklang Chiadero 16"
Frame drum from Schlagwerk, Einklang Chiadero 16″, with built-in shaker function and goatskin head for a warm, natural tone.
Product Description
The Schlagwerk Einklang Chiadero is a frame drum and shaker in one instrument, 16″, with a goatskin head and a built-in shaker sound that blends with a warm, natural drum tone. Developed in Germany together with Tomas Millner and Danilo Raimondo for solo performances, studio recording, and live sets.
- Bridges the gap between classic frame drum, pandero, daf, tambourine, and shaker
- Hand-selected goatskin for a warm, natural sound
- Integrated shaker function that blends with the skin's tone
- 8 tuning screws in the frame for fine control of sound and volume
- Includes tuning key
Sound and feel
At first glance, the Chiadero looks like a classic multi-layered beech frame drum. But when played, it reveals its surprising feature: an integrated shaker sound that blends harmoniously with the warm, natural tone of the hand-selected goatskin. This creates a sound spectrum combining depth, movement, and expression, ideal for solo performances, studio recordings, and live sets.
Tuning
The hand-selected goatskin is tuned using 8 tuning screws integrated into the frame, allowing fine nuances in sound and volume. A tuning key is included.
About the series
The Chiadero is available in diameters of 40 cm and 25 cm. This model (RTS40SK) is the 16″ version.
